Do you like the idea of making changes in an easy way?

I do, that’s why I’ve been thinking a lot about it.

As I meditated on making changes in an easy way, I remembered what fun I had playing with my modalities (senses).

I learned about modality restructuring in my NLP training.

Playing with your modalities is fun and can truly bring about change.

So… you want to have some fun playing with your modalities?

Here are some ideas to get you started:

Think about any subject you want to change, i.e. more abundance, healthier body, a better relationship, or you can focus on letting go of something such as a bad habit.

Let’s use an example of money.
When you think of money notice how you perceive it.
What do you see?
What do you feel?
What do you think?
What do you hear?
Where is money at in relation to you? Is it behind you, far away, to your right or left?

The idea is to enhance something you want and diminish something you don’t want.

Now is the time to play.

It’s just a matter of imagining. All you do is change each of your modalities to feel exactly like you want.

For example: If you see money as an empty bank account, you adjust your way of seeing money in whatever way feels abundant to you.
So, you may, for example, see many zeros added to your account, or you may imagine money coming in the mail, or folks calling to offer you opportunities.

Then you play with your other modalities.

How do you feel about money (uneasy, excited, nervous), what do you hear (maybe your own voice complaining about not having enough), what do you think (maybe, if only there were more), and where is money in your mind in relation to you (is it behind you or far away)?

Is there any area in your perception of money that does not feel good to you? (Remember you can do this with any issue/subject.)

With a little tweaking, you can change how you feel/perceive money.

All it takes is going through each of your modalities (senses) and changing whichever ones (maybe all of them) in a way that makes you feel good.

How do you want to feel when you think of money?

If you had all the money you want how would you…
feel
think
hear

Really play with it.
You can add whatever you like to your image…stardust, angels, music that makes your heart sing.

If for example, you don’t like the way you feel about money then think of something that makes you feel good. It could be anything. Such as a walk in the woods, or sunshine, or petting your cat. All you do is bring up that feeling and bring money into that feeling.

Your imagination is your only limitation.

Now if it’s something you don’t want (you want to diminish) you do the opposite with it.

Instead of enhancing it by adding color, nice sound, pleasing music or Heavenly Beings, or bringing it closer to you, or making it larger; you diminish it by making it black and white, no sound, farther away, making it smaller or by putting it in a cage.

Friend, it’s just a matter of deciding to have fun with your modalities on a regular basis.

The day-to-day playing will make a difference.

When you realize that you truly can make changes with a little tweaking of your modalities – it’s so liberating and fun!

Let me know if you have any questions.

To having fun with change…

With all my love,
Gloria
