Dearest friends, I am taking a reprieve and during this time I will be sharing with you some past favorites. Think of them as loving reminders for your soulful growth.

My husband’s family is visiting from across the other side of the world, England and Cyprus. I AM filled with love for my new family (it’s my first time meeting them). I feel I now have older sisters. I’m the oldest in my family, and I’m enjoying my new role oh so much!

Please enjoy these past favorites as I relish my time with my new sisters.

As a guest on a radio show I was asked, “What is intuitive listening, and how does one learn to do it?

My answer, “It is listening to your soul, and it all begins with paying attention.”

The other day I heard one word, “stretch.” I went about my daily business as usual not really questioning why the word, stretch, popped up out of nowhere. Then the next day while exercising I heard it again, “Stretch.”

I thought… I’m stretching enough. (While not taking into consideration that my legs have been achy)

Well, the following day while getting a massage, the massage therapist says, out of the blue, “I have a good book about stretching. You may want to take a look at it. You know stretching is very important.”

Finally, my soul got me to pay attention. I’ve added more stretching to my exercise routine, and my legs feel better already.

We all have gut feelings. We all sense a gravitational pull to do or not do something. We all get hunches.

We all get intuitive messages, which I call soulful insights.

The question is: Do we pay attention to them?

Think about it…I bet you can remember a time, maybe recently, when you felt a hunch, or a gut feeling, or a sense to do or not do something, or maybe you heard a particular word, phrase or song repeatedly.

These sensations, feelings, pulls, and repetitive words are insights from your soul. They are cues from your intuition asking you to pay attention.

f you find yourself questioning those inner nudges (they may seem so deceptively simple) remember your soul knows you like no other and is giving you a message that… if you pay attention, you will be able to decipher your way through, and receive insight that will always be in your favor.

If you are questioning your ability to listen and understand those undefined bodily or feeling cues, or repetitive messages, here are some questions to help you in following your soulful, intuitive insights.

Note: You’ll want to breathe deeply when asking these questions.

  1. What am I being told? (Especially useful when hearing a word or song or a single thought repeatedly)
  2. What is this feeling/sensation trying to tell me? (May want to breathe continuous deep breaths while listening to the answer)
  3. Is this a message of some kind? ( Use when the feeling/sensation is not strong but lingers)
  4. Am I being told to do this? Or… Am I being told to not do this? (When you feel a pull)

Your intuition (soulful guidance) is your compass; it will always lead you in the right direction.

“At times you have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you’ll discover will be wonderful. What you’ll discover is yourself.”  Alan Alda

How about you…

I would love to hear from you: Please share a time when you paid attention to your soulful guidance and the difference it made in your life. Or share a time when you didn’t pay attention and what happened as a result of not listening.

It’s such a pleasure to share with you. Thanks so much for reading my posts.

I appreciate YOU!

Paying attention,

Gloria
